E-Bike Rebate Program

E-BIKE REBATE PROGRAM 2025

The City of Bend, in partnership with Commute Options and funded by the Pacific Power Foundation, has launched a new e-bike rebate program to encourage more residents to commute by bike and reduce traffic congestion.

Program Highlights

$1,800 E-Bike Voucher: Available to 70 eligible Bend residents for the purchase of a new e-bike.
Participating Shops: Bikes can be purchased at BendR Cyclery or Bend Electric Bikes.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a resident of Bend, Oregon.
- At least 18 years old.
- Pacific Power customer.
- Household income at or below 80% of the area median income (for a family of four, this is $83,750).
- Completion of an e-bike safety course provided by Commute Options.
Application Process:
- Applications open on June 16, 2025.
- Recipients are selected through a lottery every three weeks until all rebates are awarded.
